How to measure your Dogue de Bordeaux for good fit Collar:
PAY ATTENTION BEFORE CHOOSING THE SIZE!
- The collar will fit the size of your Dogue de Bordeaux neck circumference on the central hole (the 3d one).
- Each collar has 5 holes with 1 inch (25 mm) distance between each two of them.
- It means that you have two extra holes (2 inches (50 mm) extra length) to adjust the collar for 21 inch (52.5 cm) and 22 inch (55 cm) neck size.
- You will also have 2 smaller size holes to adjust the collar for 18 inch (45 cm) and 19 inch (47.5 cm) neck size.
- The tip of the collar (measuring after the last hole) is 2 inch (5 cm) long.
- As these are handcrafted collars, their sizes may differ a little, but not in a significant way.
Genuine full grain leather is a very reliable material. The width of this collar helps to distribute the pressure in a great way and in this collar your French Mastiff will be more protected from traches or other neck injuries.
Moreover though the collar is wide, the leather it is made of preserves its genuine structure which allows air to penetrate through it in a natural way. so this leather is rather breathable.
